What a difference a year makes...

This is a pic of my good friend Kris and I in L.A. one year ago. Memorial Day weekend 2008. At the time we were both single career gals trying to figure out how cute single LDS girls in their later 20's find guys the same religion to date. It is not easy. Now, one year later Kris is married and pregnant with her first son! Wow. I'm just sayin' who knew? LIfe changes so quickly. I've always been an "enjoy the journey" type of gal and am constantly amazed to see how life changes and remains the same. I know this past year I have been living the same place, working the same job, sporting the same hair-do, but I have grown and changed and been challenged and felt joy as much as ever. Living alone for the first time has been eye-opening... I think it has forced me to really be myself more than ever. I don't have roommates to encourage me or discourage me... I am on my own. I have learned a lot about my strengths and weaknesses. It has truly been a year of growth.

Hey Sarah, You have such a positive outlook, great to read about your life. I'm a blog addict. :O) You look so great in the wedding pics and Monterey. I know you're gonna get your happily ever after soon! :O) Some people never get that time to truly find out who they are and regret it. You are an awesome person.

And I think you should keep sporting that same hair do. I can't imagine you with anything else.
